Michael Inderbitzin will go down as the first breakout star of the newly created AFT Production Twins class. The Modesto, California, rider not only swept the two races in the category’s limited 2018 introduction, he did so in dramatic fashion both times out.
Inderbitzin chased down and blitzed the entire pack at the Springfield Mile I to claim the first-ever Production Twins checkered flag, and then pulled off another unlikely come-from-behind win when the series returned to the venue for the Springfield Mile II.
Inderbitzin built on that uptick in success in 2019, adding another Production Twins top-five finish while scooping up his first-career AFT Singles podium with a runner-up result at the Perris Half-Mile.
While he’s only come to podium prominence as of late, Inderbitzin has been a consistent top-ten finisher since making his professional debut in 2012.
As he continues to take advantage of more and more opportunities, it only seems to reason he’ll factor up front on a more regular basis moving forward.
