GNC2 Championship

Also known as “the stars of tomorrow,” the AMA Pro GNC2 class is packed with prominent young talent and, year after year, continues to exceed expectations. The riders of the GNC2 class are typically younger, but they’re looking to grab the attention of the teams in higher ranks in hopes of landing a ride in the GNC1 class in the future, and often put on the best show of the weekend.

During AMA Pro Flat Track event weekends, the GNC2 race is often decided by the narrowest of margins and with a handful of bikes crossing the finish line within fractions of a second.

The eligible bikes for competition in GNC2 are the same as those that are allowed to compete in GNC1 Singles races, including recent model years from manufacturers such as Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki and Yamaha.

Initiated in 2009, this division was developed to provide a ladder system for younger riders to learn the ropes as they ascend the ranks to the premier AMA Pro GNC1 division. However, the fans are catching on and realizing the supreme talent this class has to offer and the tremendous promise the young riders have in store for years to come.
