American Flat Track 2018 Grand Awards Party to be held in Manhattan Oct. 7

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (September 5, 2018) – It’s been an amazing and wildly successful year for the American Flat Track series and AFT is delighted to announce that it is to cap off its 2018 season in grand style on October 7 with the AFT Grand Awards Party in New York City.

It all happens from 4 to 7:30 pm at Manhattan’s famous Classic Car Club at Hudson River Park’s Pier 76 (1 Pier 76, 408 12th Ave., NY https://classiccarclubmanhattan.com), an upscale, retro-modern warehouse on Manhattan’s west side overlooking the Hudson River.

There will be hors d’oeuvres galore – upscale sliders, gourmet tacos, Sicilian pizza, Kobe meatballs and more – along with liquid refreshments, creating a party atmosphere in place of a sit-down dinner. However, it’s what happens next that’ll have riders and teams really buzzing. AFT will first celebrate the achievements of 2018 with a number of well-earned awards and feature special videos that capture the spirit of the season.

After that comes a look toward the future, with both AFT and partners breaking some of the biggest stories of the year as preparations for the new season start to break cover. Expect new-bike unveils and other top-secret announcements, all of which means that the AFT Grand Awards Party will rival the annual bike show at the across-the-street Jacob Javits Center for breaking news!

Riders are already on the guest list, and a limited number of tickets for family, crew, guests and sponsors will be available. For those staying at the Meadowlands after Saturday’s race finale, transportation will be offered between the Meadowlands Hilton and the Awards Party. Look for additional details in the coming days.
