Kage Tadman burst onto the Progressive AFT scene in dramatic fashion in 2025, not only claiming the race win in his first two professional events, but absolutely dominating the AFT Singles action at both the Ventura and Silver Dollar Short Tracks.
Tadman began riding at just two years old on a PW50 at a neighbor’s property and graduated up through the amateur ranks, transitioning from 65cc to 85cc to 250cc and finally 450cc. He raced at numerous local tracks, including the Salinas County Fairgrounds, Lodi Cycle Bowl, Santa Rosa Indoor Flat Track, and Hills Ferry among others .
While a big name on the California scene, Tadman was an unknown quantity on the national scene until his stunning debut. That success led to an opportunity with the 1st Impressions Race Team, and he finished the season ranked fourth in the points with two wins, five podiums, and nine top fives, despite not racing until the fourth round the year.
Tadman will look to not only repeat but exceed his rookie success as a member of the American Honda-backed Turner Racing outfit in 2026.
