At 17 years of age, Kage Tadman, on his KTM 450 SX-F, burst onto the 2025 AFT scene in the fourth race of the season at Ventura, California on April 26th to win the race. It was a dream weekend with Kage winning in heat race 1 and taking the win in the AFT Singles 1st Impressions Challenge as well. Kage proved that his debut professional win was not a fluke when he won again in the fifth race of the season at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California. He is the only rider to achieve the distinction of winning back-to-back races in his rookie year. Salinas, California can include Kage in their pedigree of talented riders. Briar Bauman, who is Kage’s favorite AFT rider, is also from the California Central Valley along with Ricky Graham and Doug Chandler. Kage began riding at just 2 years old on a PW50 at a neighbor’s property and graduated up through 65cc, 85cc, 250cc and finally the 450cc, all KTM bikes. Kage began racing at many different local tracks: Salinas County Fairgrounds in King City, Lodi Cycle Bowl in Lodi, Santa Rosa Indoor Flat Track, Hills Ferry in Newman and others. Local racing on many different tracks has given Kage a wide range of competitive riding skills. Kage is supported by his parents-Keith and Barbara, his grandparents, family, and the flat track motorcycle family as he advances his exciting career as an AFT rider.
