Third-generation racer Dan Bromley ranks as one of the most consistent performers in the Progressive American Flat Track paddock regardless of class. That consistency carried him to the 2018 AFT Singles championship and brought him to within ten points of successfully defending his crown in 2019. Over those two campaigns, he logged 28 top-five finishes, 22 of which were podiums. Bromley’s ability to run up front each and every week is all the more impressive considering his stature; he towers over many of his rivals and yet still finds a way to stay in the draft, remain competitive, and occasionally even win on the Miles. While he minimizes his size-related disadvantages on the bigger tracks, Bromley maximizes the inverse on tighter circuits, where he expertly exploits his superior strength and leverage. Bromley established himself a race winner during his rookie year on the undercard in 2012 and finished as the GNC2 championship runner-up in 2015. He graduated to the premier class the following season, scoring a best result of fourth at the OKC Mile. However, he chose to return to 450ccs midway through his 2017 campaign in order to respark his love for racing. The result was his epic ‘18 title run. A more mature Bromley returned to premier-class action in 2020 and again showed himself worthy; he secured three top-five finishes and seven top tens en route to an eventual 11th place Grand National Championship ranking. He followed that up with a third-ranked, seven-podium, one-victory Mission Production Twins campaign in 2021. Bromley ran just a partial season in 2022, but was immensely impressive nonetheless. In his eight Mission Production Twins entries, he scored six runner-ups and two third-place finishes. He also turned five of the resultant Mission Production Twins Challenge entries into premier-class top tens. He scored points in both Mission AFT SuperTwins and Parts Unlimited AFT competition in ‘23, highlighted by a pair of sixths among four top tens in the premier class. Bromley primarily focused his efforts on the Mission AFT SuperTwins in ‘24, finishing the season ranked 12th with three top tens despite riding three different makes of equipment. Despite that renewed focus, he did, however, also compete in the inaugural AFT AdventureTrackers race, where he finished seventh on a Honda Transalp.
